Rostered Days Off (RDO Sample Clauses

Rostered Days Off (RDO a) Working hours will be arranged on a system that provides for an employee to accrue two rostered days off over a four calendar week work cycle. This will be done by the employee working 40 ordinary hours each week, being paid 36 hours ordinary pay and accruing four hours ordinary pay towards a RDO. This enables an employee to accrue two RDO’s per four week work cycle.

Rostered Days Off (RDO. Except as provided elsewhere in this Agreement, where an Employee is working on a project the average ordinary working hours will be 36 hours per week, worked as follows:
Rostered Days Off (RDO. This Agreement is based on the concept of providing paid rest and recreational leave. Accordingly, no RDO’s are accrued or paid under this Agreement.
Rostered Days Off (RDO. 36.1 A rostered day off occurs in the system of working a nine (9) day fortnight and is defined as a weekday Monday to Friday on which an employee is not required to work because the employee has worked additional time which has accrued towards a day off. The normal working arrangement for employees is nine (9) eight (8) hour days per fortnight and RDOs are normally taken on a Monday or Friday. Rostered Days Off (RDO. 11.2.1 The ordinary weekly hours shall be an average of 38 hours per week (8 hours per day exclusive of meal breaks) worked over a 19 day month with a RDO accrued in each four week cycle.
Rostered Days Off (RDO. It is the intention for RDO’s to accrue during the life of the project and be paid out on completion of the project. However, if an employee has a genuine need or special circumstance and requires an RDO, the employee can apply to the Site Manager using the Leave Request Form. The Site Manager may at his discretion approve or decline to approve the requested RDO. In cases where an employee has a real and genuine need, the RDO request would most likely to be approved as long as it was an exception and not the norm.

Payment for the RDO will be based on the employees ordinary rate of pay, including any shift allowances. Employees can only take an RDO when a minimum time in credit of 1 day (7.6 hours) is accumulated as displayed on the employee’s payslip for the previous week’s period or as agreed by the employer.
