In managing and funding these state-operated services, States and Territories have the role of introducing, supporting and leveraging national digital health capability.

Role of the States and Territories. The States and Territories will: Develop, strengthen, and maintain the capacity of the health sector to detect, report, and respond to public health events. Develop and maintain communication networks with agencies and organisations within their jurisdictions to ensure an effective response to public health events. Develop and maintain arrangements with other agencies and organisations within their jurisdictions to receive information about events requiring a nationally coordinated public health response and forward that information to the NFP. Request a nationally coordinated response to an event which is likely to overwhelm the resources of the affected, or potentially affected, State or Territory or requires activation or delegation of existing Commonwealth powers. Designate Responsible Bodies for communicating with the NFP during a potential Public Health Event of National Significance or a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, or an Overseas Mass Casualty Event. Notify the NFP of Public Health Events of National Significance to be Reported to the NFP, including a potential Public Health Emergency of International Concern, as defined in this Agreement, as soon as practicable, but within 12 hours of becoming aware of them. Provide information about each event that will include: location; date and time; nature of the event; details of persons affected, including personal information if required; nature of the medical condition(s) occurring or that will potentially result from the event; number of known cases or description of the area where people are potentially exposed to illness or disease as a result of the event; a statement that the event involves death or illness at a level higher than expected for the time and place, together with the reasons; potential impact on other States of Territories; summary of the response undertaken to date; and nature of additional response elements that may be required. Provide personal information in accordance with the Act. Respond to requests from the NFP for any additional information that is required to assess whether a reported event is of national significance or international concern. This Agreement is not intended to over-ride existing communication networks.

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services. The Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities including, but not limited to:

  • Outpatient emergency and urgicenter services within the service area The emergency room copay applies to all outpatient emergency visits that do not result in hospital admission within twenty-four (24) hours. The urgicenter copay is the same as the primary care clinic office visit copay.

  • Scope of the Services 3.1 The services that the Construction Manager shall provide include, but are not limited to those described in the following sections.

  • Telemedicine Services This plan covers clinically appropriate telemedicine services when the service is provided via remote access through an on-line service or other interactive audio and video telecommunications system in accordance with R.I.
