Role of the ADRC. ADRCs provide a central source of reliable and objective information about a broad range of programs and services. They help people understand and evaluate the various options available to them. By enabling people to find resources in their communities and make informed decisions about long-term care, ADRCs help people conserve their personal resources, maintain self-sufficiency, and delay or prevent the need for potentially expensive long-term care. ADRCs also serve as the single access point for publicly funded long-term care, including Family Care and IRIS. ADRC services are available to older adults and people with disabilities regardless of income and regardless of the person’s eligibility for publicly funded long-term care. ADRC services are also available to families, friends, caregivers, and others who work with or care about older people or people with disabilities. To promote use of their services, ADRCs should be physically accessible and be able to provide information and assistance in a private and confidential manner, provide a welcoming and inviting place where customers feel comfortable coming for services, be culturally competent, be able to communicate with persons of differing abilities, and be available at a location preferred by and at a time convenient to individual customers.

  • Purpose of the Agreement ‌ The purpose of this Agreement is to authorize PDL NPDL to charter space to PFLG in the Trade (as hereinafter defined).

  • Terms of the Agreement Each Party shall treat the terms of this Agreement as the Confidential Information of other Party, subject to the exceptions set forth in Section 7.2.   • Duration of the Agreement This Agreement shall come into effect on the day and year stated in Box 4 and shall continue until the date stated in Box 17. Thereafter it shall continue until terminated by either party giving to the other notice in writing, in which event the Agreement shall terminate upon the expiration of a period of two months from the date upon which such notice was given.

  • Formation of the Agreement 2.1 The Agreement is binding upon Supplier after accepting the Purchase Order as evidenced by acknowledgement, supply of Goods and/or performance of Services. Versuni expressly rejects Supplier’s general conditions of sale.

  • Relationship to the Award This Agreement shall form the complete agreement covering all terms and conditions of employment. It shall operate to the exclusion of any and all awards and supersedes any previous arrangements or agreements.

Each party acknowledges that it entered into the Agreement solely based on the agreements and representations contained herein, and has not relied upon any representations, warranties, promises, or inducements of any kind, whether oral or written, and from any source. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any term of the Agreement to be invalid, illegal or otherwise unenforceable, such term or provision will not affect the other terms of this Agreement and will be deemed modified to the extent necessary, in the court’s opinion, to render such term enforceable while preserving to the fullest extent permissible the intent and agreements of the parties set forth in this Agreement. No waiver or modification of any provision of the Agreement will be effective unless it is in writing and signed by the party against which it is sought to be enforced. The delay or failure by either party to exercise or enforce any of its rights under this Agreement is not a waiver of that party’s right to later enforce those rights, nor will any single or partial exercise of any such right preclude any other or further exercise of these rights or any other right. There are no third-party beneficiaries to the Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these GTC and an Order Form, the Order Form controls for purposes of that Order Form only.
