Role Of Chairman. The Joint Venture shall be managed by the Chairman who is authorized by the Board of Directors to manage, supervise and control the Operations on behalf of the Parties. Within the scope of SECTIONS 7.7 and 7.8 the Chairman alone shall have the right to enter into legally binding agreements on behalf of the Joint Venture or the Parties in connection with any and all activities contemplated by this Contract.
