Roadside Assistance Protection. (RAP): If Renter selects the RAP protection on the Rental Agreement Summary, Owner waives Renter's responsibility concerning: (a) all costs of recovery and travel invoiced by Owner's selected road assistance service providers in relation to a breakdown of Owner's Vehicle caused by the driver or Renter; (b) replacement of lost stolen, or broken keys; and (c) costs of repair and replacement of the tyres (excluding rims) except when they form part of a wider damage to the vehicle. The protection does not apply if Renter breaches his obligations in this Rental Agreement.

Roadside Assistance Protection. (RAP). Enterprise provides roadside assistance to the renter. This includes a 24-hour emergency service including provision of a replacement vehicle in case of lost vehicle key, shipping of the key, on-site assistance in case of tyre breakdowns, towing service, forced unlocking of the vehicle if the keys are locked inside, jump-start assistance, and refuelling service up to 5 litres. Roadside assistance is available in almost all European countries; the current list of countries is available at the rental branch at the time of rental. By checking the appropriate box on the front of this form, the renter undertakes to pay a flat-rate fee that covers all roadside assistance services up to the respective maximum amount agreed. Roadside assistance is also available without payment of this flat-rate fee; it will then be billed according to actual costs incurred for each assistance service rendered.

Roadside Assistance Protection. When deciding whether or not to purchase ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROTECTION (RAP), you may wish to check to determine whether, you have other coverage or protection for such services. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROTECTION IS NOT INSURANCE. THE PURCHASE OF ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROTECTION IS OPTIONAL AND NOT REQUIRED IN ORDER TO RENT A VEHICLE.   • EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The District’s Educational Assistance Program will be continued during the life of this Agreement. Employees who wish to enroll in job-related and promotion oriented courses, which will improve their job knowledge, and performance will be compensated by the District for expenses as follows:

  • TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM A. As part of the University policy to encourage staff members to further their formal education, the Tuition Assistance Program for Employees was established. Under the Tuition Assistance plan, qualified Employees will be issued vouchers which will enable them to register without paying tuition. (Incidental fees, however, must be paid by the Employee.)

  • Employee Assistance Program A. The State recognizes that alcohol, nicotine, drug abuse, and stress may adversely affect job performance and are treatable conditions. As a means of correcting job performance problems, the State may offer referral to treatment for alcohol, nicotine, drug, and stress related problems such as marital, family, emotional, financial, medical, legal, or other personal problems. The intent of this section is to assist an employee's voluntary efforts to treat alcoholism, nicotine use, or a drug-related or a stress-related problem.

  • Employee Assistance Programs Consistent with the University's Employee Assistance Program, employees participating in an employee assistance program who receive a notice of layoff may continue to participate in that program for a period of ninety (90) days following the layoff.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Educational Assistance Plan The state shall provide up to six credit hours of tuition-free courses per term at a state university or community college to full-time employees on a space available basis as authorized by law.

  • Peer Assistance Both new and experienced teachers benefit from professional support provided by other classroom teachers. For the purpose of this article, peer assistance describes activities planned and implemented by the Consulting Teacher in collaboration with the Participating Teacher and the supervising administrator. The activities shall be designed to strengthen the Participating Teacher’s skill and expertise in accordance with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession in the following areas: mastery of content, instructional skills and techniques, alignment to District approved goals and objectives, classroom management, planning and designing lessons for all children, assessment of student progress toward established standards, appropriate learning environment.
