RIGHTS OF THE EMPLOYEES. Section 3.1 Each employee shall have the right to bring matters of personal concern to the attention of appropriate Association representatives and/or appropriate officials of the District.

It is agreed that all employees subject to this Agreement shall have and shall be protected in the exercise of the right, freely and without fear of penalty or reprisal, to join and assist the Union. The District shall take whatever action required or refrain from such action in order to assure employees that no interference, restraint, coercion, or discrimination is allowed within the District to encourage or discourage membership in any employee organization.

RIGHTS OF THE EMPLOYEES. 3.01 Employees shall have, and shall be protected in the exercise of the right, freely and without fear of penalty or reprisal, to form, join, and assist any labor organization or to refrain from any such activity. The freedom of such employees to assist any labor organization shall be recognized as extending to participation in the management of any such labor organization and acting for it in the capacity of an employee organization representative, including presentation of its views to the officials of the Executive Branch, the Congress, or other appropriate authority.
RIGHTS OF THE EMPLOYEES. 6 It is agreed that the employees in the unit defined herein will have and will be protected in the exercise 7 of the right, freely and without fear of penalty or reprisal, to join and assist the Association in 8 accordance with and subject to applicable laws, regulations and the provisions of this Agreement. The 9 freedom of such employees to assist the Association will be recognized as extending to participation in 10 the management of the Association. The District will take no action which will coerce, discriminate, 11 or restrain membership in the employee organization.

RIGHTS OF THE EMPLOYEES. 3.1 Pursuant to the rights, duties and remedies of the Washington Public Employees’ Collective Bargaining Act, RCW 41.46, hereinafter referred to as the “Act,” the District hereby agrees that every employee as herein defined shall have the right freely to organize, join and support the VESP. Both the VESP and the District agree that they will not discriminate against any employee because of membership or non-membership in the VESP.
