Rights of the Buyer. (a) Subject to Section 8.4(b), the Originator hereby authorizes the Buyer and its assignees and designees to take any and all steps in the Originator’s name and on behalf of the Originator that the Buyer, the Servicer and/or their respective designees determine are reasonably necessary or appropriate to collect all amounts due under any and all CMSC Purchased Assets, including without limitation endorsing the name of the Originator on checks and other instruments representing CMSC Collections and enforcing such CMSC Purchased Assets.
