Right to Have a Committeeperson Present. An employee subject to formal disciplinary action, which is to be recorded in the employee’s personnel file, shall have the right to presence of a union committee member at the time such discipline is given, unless it is necessary, because of the circumstances giving rise to the suspension or discharge, to require the immediate expulsion of the employee from the employer’s premises.
