RIF. Substitutes shall have no rights to continued employment in the District.
RIF. Employees to be affected by a RIF shall be provided the right of first refusal to any position to be filled within the Agency for which they meet the established requirements at the same or lower midpoint than the midpoint of the position the Employee currently holds unless there is another candidate exercising RIF rights for that position in accordance with SPB Rules 1.7.10.9 and 1.7.10.10
RIF. A RIF may occur for the following reasons:
RIF. Section 1. The RIF shall be conducted in accordance with 5 CFR § 351 and all other current applicable laws and government-wide rules and regulations.
RIF. 7 In the event the District suffers a significant loss in revenues and/or program which requires a 8 reduction in the work force (RIF), the District shall follow the procedure contained herein. The District
RIF. Decision The Committee retains the right to determine the number of administrative positions which are needed. The Superintendent also retains, subject to the provisions of this article, the right to determine the employees to be laid off and recalled. This R.I.F. article does not apply to situations wherein an administrative position has been eliminated and there are no remaining similar administrative positions.
RIF. If the Board decides that a Reduction of personnel becomes necessary, the Board shall accomplish the reduction through normal attrition. Should further reduction be necessary, the administrative staff will determine the educational program needed for the students in accordance with the educational goals established by the Board. The number of teachers needed to implement the district's educational program will then be determined by the administrative staff based on those educational goals. The following will then apply in a random order (but not limited to) in determining the additional staff reduction; -years of service, -individual certification, -evaluations, -training, and -skills. Should a RIF occur, a teacher employed with the district with a minimum of 15 years of service in the district will be reimbursed for leave and service, the same as a person at retirement.
RIF. Seller shall have completed the RIF and provided evidence to Buyer of the satisfaction of all Liabilities associated with the RIF (to the extent that such Liabilities must be satisfied prior to the Closing Date).

RIF. When by reason of decreased enrollment of pupils, return to duty of regular teachers after leaves of absence, financial reasons, or by reason of suspension of schools or territorial changes affecting the district, the Board may make a reasonable reduction. In making such reduction, the Board shall proceed to suspend contracts in accordance with the recommendation of the Superintendent who shall, within each teaching field affected, give preference to teachers on continuing contracts and to teachers who have greater seniority. Said reduction shall be in accordance with the provisions of this agreement.
