RFIs. During the course of construction as part of the basic services, all Requests for Information (“RFI”) must be responded to as expeditiously as possible so as not to impact and delay the construction progress. In no case shall the review period associated with an RFI exceed seven (7) calendar days from the receipt by the Architect. Architect’s response to each RFI shall be a substantive and acceptable response. This 7-day time period shall not include time when a submittal is within the District’s control or if the submittal is being reviewed by DSA. In no way does this provision reduce the Architect’s liability if it fails to prepare acceptable documents.

RFIs. Construction Manager must maintain a log of requests for information (“RFI”) submitted by the Contractor(s) to the Construction Manager or any member of the Design Team. Construction Manager shall utilize the Council’s management information system(s) (“MIS”), as developed, for this purpose.
RFIs a. Subject to sub-clause 1.7 [Discrepancy in documents] above, if the Sub-Contractor wishes to clarify an issue arising from the Sub-Contract Documents or the work under the Sub-Contract, the Sub-Contractor may submit a written notice requesting information (“RFI”) to Total. An RFI must state a time by which the Sub-Contractor requires a response to that RFI (which must be not less than five (5) Business Days).
RFIs. Subcontractor acknowledges that the project will require an above average submission of Requests for Information (RFI's) and that no monetary claims, extensions of time, or personnel costs will be entertained as a result of the anticipated number of RFI’s. RFI’s will be processed via Autodesk Build or similar software.

Architect’s response to each RFI shall be a substantive and acceptable response. This 7‐day time period includes time when a submittal is within the control of Architect’s Consultants. This 7‐day time period shall not include time when a submittal is within District’s control or if the submittal is being reviewed by DSA. In no way does this provision reduce Architect’s liability if it fails to prepare acceptable documents. Architect shall be solely responsible for coordinating any response required by Consultants to provide a substantive and acceptable response. Architect shall be responsible for any delay caused by any Consultant for Consultant’s failure to timely respond.
RFIs. When it is within its scope to make written responses to requests from a contractor for clarification and interpretation of the requirements of the contract documents (“RFI”), Xxxxxxx shall provide written responses to such RFIs with reasonable promptness, anticipated to be an average of five (5) business days. If an RFI seeks information readily apparent from reasonable observation of field conditions or a review of the contract documents (or reasonably inferable therefrom), Xxxxxxx shall be entitled to additional compensation for the time spent in responding to such an RFI.
