REVIEW OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND FIELD CONDITIONS BY CONTRACTOR. 3.2.1 The Contractor shall carefully study and compare the Contract Documents with each other and with information furnished by the Owner pursuant to Subparagraph 2.2.2 and shall at once report to the Architect, errors, inconsistencies or omissions discovered. The Contractor shall not be liable to the Owner or Architect for damage resulting from errors, inconsistencies or omissions in damage resulting from errors, inconsistencies or omissions in the Contract Documents unless the Contractor recognized such error, inconsistency or omission and failed to report it to the Architect. If the Contractor performs any construction activity involving a recognized error, inconsistency or omission in the Contract Documents without such notice to the Architect, the Contractor shall assume appropriate responsibility for such performance and shall bear an appropriate amount of the attributable costs for correction.
REVIEW OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND FIELD CONDITIONS BY CONTRACTOR. 8.1.1 Since the Contract Documents are complementary, before starting each portion of the Work, the Contractor shall carefully study and compare the various Drawings and other Contract Documents relative to that portion of the Work, as well as the information furnished by the Owner pursuant to Subparagraph 7.1.1, shall take field measurements of any existing conditions related to that portion of the Work and shall observe any conditions at the site affecting it. These obligations are for the purpose of facilitating construction by the Contractor and are not for the purpose of discovering errors, omissions or inconsistencies in the Contract Documents; however, any errors, omissions or inconsistencies discovered by the Contractor shall be reported promptly to the Architect as a request for information in such form as the Architect may require.
REVIEW OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND FIELD CONDITIONS BY CONTRACTOR. (a) The Prime Contractor shall carefully check, study, and compare the Contract Documents with each other and shall at once report to the Architect/Engineer in writing any inconsistency, ambiguity, error, omission, conflict, or discrepancy the Prime Contractor may discover. The Prime Contractor shall also verify all dimensions, field measurements, and field conditions before laying out the Work. The Prime Contractor will be held responsible for any subsequent error, omission, conflict, or discrepancy which might have been avoided by the above-described check, study, comparison, and reporting. In the event the Prime Contractor continues to work on an item where an inconsistency, ambiguity, error, omission, conflict, or discrepancy exists without obtaining such clarification or resolution or commences an item of the Work without giving written notice of an error, omission, conflict, or discrepancy that might have been avoided by the check, study, and comparison required above, it shall be deemed that the Prime Contractor bid and intended to execute the more stringent, higher quality, or state of the art requirement, or accepted the condition “as is” in the Contract Documents, without any increase to the Contract Sum or Contract Time. The Prime Contractor shall also be responsible to correct any failure of component parts to coordinate or fit properly into final position as a result of Prime Contractor's failure to give notice of and obtain a clarification or resolution of any error, omission, conflict, or discrepancy, without any right to any increase to the Contract Sum or Contract Time.

REVIEW OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND FIELD CONDITIONS BY CONTRACTOR. 3.1.1 Contractor and its Subcontractors shall review and compare each of the Contract Documents with the others and with information furnished or made available by the City and shall promptly report in writing to the Owner’s Representative any errors, inconsistencies, or omissions in the Contract Documents or inconsistencies with Applicable Code Requirements observed by Contractor or its Subcontractors.
REVIEW OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND FIELD CONDITIONS BY CONTRACTOR. The Contractor shall have a continuing duty to read, carefully study and compare the Contract Documents as defined in Article 1.00, DEFINITIONS, and product data with each other and with information furnished by the University. The Contractor shall perform construction coordination and constructability review of the Contract Documents and shall at once report to the Design Professional and the University, any errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities and omissions before proceeding with the affected Work. The Contractor shall be liable to the University for damage resulting from the Contractor’s failure to properly perform such reviews or failure to promptly report any errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities or omissions identified in the Contract Documents to the Design Professional and the University. If the Contractor performs any construction activity that involves such error, inconsistency, ambiguity or omission in the Contract Documents without such notice to the Design Professional and the University, the Contractor shall assume responsibility for such performance and shall bear all costs attributable for correction. If the Contractor submits authorized substitutes that cost in excess of the Contract Sum or which cause coordination conflicts, the Contractor shall bear all costs attributable to correction. The Contractor shall take field measurements and verify field conditions and shall carefully compare such field measurements and conditions and other information known to the Contractor with the Contract Documents before commencing activities. Errors, inconsistencies or omissions discovered shall be reported to the Design Professional and University at once. The Contractor shall perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents.

Contractor shall be responsible for any additional costs to Owner resulting from Contractor’s failure to verify existing conditions related to any portion of the Work or to report to Architect/Engineer and Owner any errors, inconsistencies, omissions, or ambiguities in the Contract Documents discovered by, or which should have been discovered by, Contractor.

These obligations are for the purpose of facilitating construction by the Contractor and are not for the purpose of discovering errors, omissions, or inconsistencies in the Contract Documents; however, any errors, inconsistencies or omissions discovered (or which reasonably should have been discovered) 30 by the Contractor shall be reported promptly to the Architect as a request for information in such form as the Architect may require. If the Contractor proceeds with work affected by such errors, inconsistencies or omissions without receiving interpretation or clarification from the Architect, he does so at his own risk, and all costs, expenses and/or damages arising therefrom shall be at the Contractor's sole expense. Execution of the Contract by the Contractor is a representation that the Contract Documents are full, complete and sufficient to enable the Contractor to: (1) determine the cost of the Work; (2) construct the Work outlined therein; and (3) otherwise to fulfill all of its obligations 35 hereunder; including, but not limited to, Contractor’s obligation to construct the Work for the Contract Sum on or before the date(s) of
