Retirement Rights. Employees who are granted military leave may, under conditions provided in the Military Code (5l P.L. 7306) and Chapter 43, Part III of Title 38 United States Code and in accordance with procedures prescribed by the State Employees' Retirement Board and the Public School Employees' Retirement Board, choose either to continue or discontinue making regular payments into their retirement accounts.

Retirement Rights. 21.5.1 Preschool teachers will participate in the State Teacher’s Retirement System (STRS) as per Education Code 8360. Should the Education Code be deleted, modified or changed by law or court action this section will be re-opened for negotiation.

Retirement Rights. Upon retirement from the School District, and having met IMRF eligibility or other pension group, on or after age 55 and three (3) continuous years of full-time service at Leyden, a full- time 40 hour per week employee, hired before January 1, 2010, shall be allowed to participate in the District’s health and dental insurance program on the same basis as current employees until the employee reaches the age of eligibility for Medicare. Upon reaching the age of eligibility for Medicare, and if Medicare eligible, the employee may participate in the Board’s Medicare supplement program by paying the full premium cost. Retirement Rights. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), per- sons appointed to the Administration shall be subject to the provisions of and entitled to bene- fits under subchapter III of chapter 83 of title 5 or subchapter II of chapter 84 of title 5, which- ever is applicable.

  • Retirement Options The Xxxxxxx Community College Board of Trustees may at its discretion grant one of the following retirement incentive plans to eligible faculty. The unit member must elect and may participate in only one of the three following retirement plans:

  • Retirement Program Any employee employed prior to October 1, 1977, working at least seventy (70) hours per month shall by law be a member of the Washington Public Employees Retirement system (PERS) Plan One. Any employee working at least seventy (70) hours per month, entering employment on or after October 1, 1977, shall by law be a member of the School Employees Retirement System, Plan Two or Three. The District shall provide each new employee information concerning PERS or SERS membership benefits.

  • Retirement Formula The City contracts with CalPERS to provide the 2.5% at 55 retirement formula set forth in California Government Code Section 21354.4.

  • Early Retirement Incentive The Employer may offer to any faculty member or a faculty member may apply for one of the early retirement incentive alternatives described herein, provided the faculty member meets the following criteria. The Union shall be advised in writing of any offer of early retirement made to a faculty member.
