RETIREMENT AND TERMINATION. A. Upon termination of employment, the bargaining unit member shall be paid for all benefits that have accrued to him as of the date of said termination. In the event of the unit member's death, all such benefits shall be paid to his designated beneficiary.

It is agreed, however, that the Board may temporarily rehire superannuated personnel at the Board’s discretion, on the understanding that such rehiring will not prejudice promotions which would normally result from retirement on Superannuation.
