Retirees Insurance. Employees retiring or on disability retirement shall be allowed to purchase the hospitalization/medical program at the active group rate for current employees by paying in advance the full applicable monthly premium for employee coverage and, if desired, for dependent coverage until eligible for Medicare (or until the date the employee would be eligible for Medicare if covered by the Medicare program).
