Retiree Medical and Dental Benefits. Benefit Plan #1 Eligibility: Membership date prior to October 1, 1987, five (5) years of credited County service and continuity of coverage.
Retiree Medical and Dental Benefits. If you were eligible for P&G retiree healthcare coverage on your Last Day of Employment, you will be eligible to enroll in P&G’s retiree medical and dental insurance coverage. You are eligible for P&G retiree healthcare coverage if you satisfy the regular retiree eligibility rules (i.e., you are a Regular Retiree) as of your Last Day of Employment. Under the terms of this Agreement, you also are eligible for P&G retiree healthcare coverage as a Special Retiree by satisfying the Rule of 70 as of your Last Day of Employment. Retiree Medical and Dental Benefits. The District will provide medical and dental benefits, as described in the benefits handbook available in the Office of Human Resources, to managers who were employed as regular faculty, classified or management employees by the District prior to January 1, 1987. The eligible retired manager, and that manager's spouse at the time of the manager's retirement, shall be eligible for continuation of benefits during the life of the retired manager, and, following the death of the retired manager, during the life of the un-remarried surviving spouse.

Retiree Medical and Dental Benefits. 00.0.0.0: Subject to the conditions set forth below, the District agrees to provide, and pay premiums, for a retiree’s medical and dental benefits.
Retiree Medical and Dental Benefits. Until age sixty-five (65), a unit employee who has retired shall receive the same health and dental benefit coverage provided for other employees covered by this Agreement, provided, however, that the carrier or carriers of such health and dental coverage for the other employees covered by this Agreement shall provide such coverage for retirees. A unit member who has retired is defined as a person who is retiring under PERS and has been employed by the District for at least ten (10) years and is at least fifty-five (55) years of age, the last five (5) years of which were consecutive and immediate prior to retirement. In the event that the present carrier or carriers of such health and dental coverage cancel said coverage for employees that have retired, the District will provide, if available, such health and dental coverage for those retirees under a different carrier or carriers. All retirees and their dependents eligible for Medicare Part A must be registered in the Medicare system in order to qualify for the District-paid benefits. All retires and their dependents must enroll in Medicare Part B in order to qualify for District-paid benefits. All retires and their dependents must assign those Medicare Part A (if eligible) and Medicare Part B benefits to the District medical plan carrier they are using in order to qualify for District-paid benefits. In the event of any changes to the Medicare law that impact the applicability of this Article; the parties shall have the right to reopen this Article for a period of sixty (60) days following the date that those changes go into effect.
