Common use of Rest and Meal Periods Clause in Contracts

Rest and Meal Periods. Each twelve (12) hour shift shall be inclusive of two (2) thirty (30) minute paid meal breaks, and two (2) paid fifteen (15) minute rest periods in an area made available by the Employer. Each eight (8) hour shift shall be inclusive of one (1) thirty (30) minute paid meal break and two (2) paid fifteen (15) minute rest periods in an area made available by the Employer. Each four (4) hour shift shall include one (1) paid fifteen (15) minute rest period.
