Responsible Entity. (1) Environmental review responsibilities for projects funded with assistance under this Grant Agreement must be assumed by the "responsible entity." As defined in 24 CFR § 58.2(a)(7), the responsible entity for public housing agencies is the unit of general local government within which the project is located that exercises land use responsibility, or if HUD determines this infeasible, the county, or if HUD determines this infeasible, the State.

Responsible Entity. The OCD shall be the responsible entity for conducting environmental reviews for each parcel of the Property in compliance with CDBG and HUD environmental review requirements. An environmental review with a written Notice to Proceed from the OCD Environmental Officer must be issued prior to the transfer of each parcel of the Property.
Responsible Entity. The Responsible Entity represents, warrants and undertakes to the Underwriters each of the matters set out in part 2 of schedule 2.
Responsible Entity. (a) The Responsible Entity enters into this agreement only in its capacity as responsible entity of the Trust and in no other capacity. A liability arising under or in connection with this agreement can be enforced against the Responsible Entity only to the extent to which it can be satisfied out of the property of the Trust out of which the Responsible Entity is actually indemnified for the liability.
