Common use of Responsibility of Contractor Clause in Contracts

Responsibility of Contractor. Attention is hereby particularly directed to the provisions of the contract whereby the Contractor will be responsible for any loss or damage that may happen to the work or any part thereof during its progress; and also whereby the Contractor shall make good any defects or faults that may occur during the progress of the work or within twelve (12) months after its completion and acceptance. Any progress payments made by the Town during the completion of this contract by the Contractor shall not be a waiver of the foregoing provision.
