Responsibility Allowance. (a) An Employee who is assigned additional responsibilities which contribute to the administration of program(s) and which comprise at least 25% of the Employee’s workload and regularly includes the supervision of and/or coordination of other Employees, shall be paid $2.00 per hour in addition to the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay.

Responsibility Allowance. 13.01 Where the Employer temporarily assigns an employee to carry out the assigned responsibilities of a classification outside the bargaining unit for a period in excess of one-half (1/2) of one shift, the employee shall receive an allowance of four dollars ($4.00) for each shift from the time of the assignment.

The Employer agrees that it will not make work assignments which will violate the purpose and intent in this provision.
