Responsibilities and Delegations. Students' safe, responsible and respectful use of digital devices and online services is the shared responsibility of students, parent/caregivers and school staff. Students: • must use digital devices and online services in safe, responsible and respectful ways, as outlined in the College’s Acceptable Use of Computers and the Safe & Supportive suite of policies and procedures which includes clear guidelines about the Rights and Responsibilities of Students Parents and Caregivers: • recognise the role they play in educating their children and modelling the behaviours that underpin the safe, responsible and respectful use of digital devices and online services, particularly when remote/online learning is being undertaken • support implementation of College procedures, including its approach to resolving issues • take responsibility for their child's use of digital devices and online services at home, particularly when remote/online learning is being undertaken • communicate with College staff and the College community respectfully and collaboratively Teachers: • model appropriate use of digital devices and online services in line with College policy • maintain a positive school culture that includes and promotes safe, responsible and respectful use of digital devices and online services • have established strategies and practices consistent with the College’s procedures, and deliver learning experiences to encourage appropriate use of digital devices and online services • respond to and report any breaches and incidents of inappropriate use of digital devices and online services as required by College policies and procedures, and any statutory and regulatory requirements • support parents/caregivers to understand the strategies that can be employed to promote their children's safe, responsible and respectful use of digital devices and online services • participate in professional development related to the use of digital devices and online services, particularly when remote/online learning is being undertaken Non-teaching staff, including volunteers and contracted staff engaged by schools: • be aware of this policy and the staff Working From Home Policy, and act in line with the conduct described in it • report any inappropriate use of digital devices and online services to the Principal, College Executive or teaching staff A number of resources have been consulted in preparing this document including: • Safe Work Australia Managing the Work Environment and ...

  • Responsibilities and Duties (a) As President and Chief Executive Officer, the Executive shall serve under the board of directors of the Corporation and will perform all duties and will have all powers associated with these positions, as set forth in any job description provided to the Executive by the Corporation or as may be set forth in the bylaws of the Corporation. In addition, the Executive shall be responsible for establishing the business objectives, policies and strategic plans of the Corporation. The Executive shall report directly to the board of directors of the Corporation.

  • Responsibilities and Rights A. Nothing in this grievance procedure shall be construed to apply to matters for which an administrative remedy is provided before the Civil Service Commission. Where a matter within the scope of this grievance procedure is alleged to be both a grievance and an unfair labor practice under the jurisdiction of the XXX, the employee may elect to pursue the matter under either the grievance procedure herein provided, or by action before the XXX.   • Responsibilities 1. Subject to the provisions of this Agreement, BNY shall with respect to each Specified Country select an Eligible Foreign Custodian. In connection therewith, BNY shall: (a) determine that assets of the Funds held by such Eligible Foreign Custodian will be subject to reasonable care, based on the standards applicable to custodians in the relevant market in which such Eligible Foreign Custodian operates, after considering all factors relevant to the safekeeping of such assets, including, without limitation, those contained in paragraph (c)(1) of the Rule; (b) determine that the Funds’ foreign custody arrangements with each Eligible Foreign Custodian are governed by a written contract with the Custodian which will provide reasonable care for the Funds’ assets based on the standards specified in paragraph (c)(1) of the Rule; (c) determine that each contract with an Eligible Foreign Custodian shall include the provisions specified in paragraph (c)(2)(i)(A) through (F) of the Rule or, alternatively, in lieu of any or all of such (c)(2)(i)(A) through (F) provisions, such other provisions as BNY determines will provide, in their entirety, the same or a greater level of care and protection for the assets of the Funds as such specified provisions; (d) monitor pursuant to the Monitoring System the appropriateness of maintaining the assets of the Funds with a particular Eligible Foreign Custodian pursuant to paragraph (c)(1) of the Rule and the performance of the contract governing such arrangement; and (e) advise the Funds whenever BNY determines under the Monitoring System that an arrangement (including, any material change in the contract governing such arrangement) described in preceding clause (d) no longer meets the requirements of the Rule.
