Resource Protection. (i) to comply with present and future laws, regulations and orders relating to the occupation or use of the Leased Property which shall include, but not be limited to, all activities related to groundwater contamination, the application of pesticides and commercial fertilizers, the cultivation of crops and the compliance thereof, and the storage and/or disposal of any hazardous waste;

Resource Protection. The Tenant shall: Raise livestock and control weeds and insects on the land in a sustainable manner; Use pesticides in accordance with labelled directions. The Tenant shall not: allow overgrazing of any of the land that is in grass or forages overload nutrient levels on the land or adjacent water bodies allow pesticide to drift on to non target lands, including adjacent lands and waterways accumulate, permit or allow the accumulation of any waste material, debris, refuse or garbage allow any site contamination such as, but not limited to, chemicals, oil spills, hydro carbons or any other waste materials on the land or adjacent water bodies USE OF LEASED LANDS The Tenant covenants with the Landlord, that throughout the Term of the Lease it shall: Use this Leased Land and premises for the purpose of livestock production only, unless otherwise limited or restricted in writing by the Landlord. Not remove any sand, gravel, clay, or topsoil except for his own use, and agree that he has no rights whatsoever to valuable stone or other such substances existing on or under the surface of the said Leased Land. Not change the natural course of any waterways on the said Leased Land, or cut down trees growing upon the Leased Land, nor permit any other person to do so, without the written consent of the Landlord. The Tenant shall comply with all lawful orders imposed by the relevant municipal or local government district in accordance with The Noxious Weed Act. Not cut down trees growing upon the land, nor will he permit any other person to do so. Not allow the entry of any persons for the purpose of outfitting, eco-tourism, picking of berries or flowers or any such plant materials. Not bring into cultivation any new lands. At no time allow or permit any liens, (including but not limited to builders' liens) to arise or be filed against any of the Leased Lands on account of any work, labour, services or materials supplied to or on behalf of the Tenant. Allow the Landlord, including its employees, agents and representatives to enter upon the Leased Lands at any time for the purpose of inspecting the Leased Lands, including any Alterations and Improvements thereon. And may peaceably possess and enjoy the said land for the said term, without any interruption or disturbance from the Landlord or any representative of the Landlord, if the Tenant fulfils the terms and conditions of this agreement.
Resource Protection. The tenant shall: a) cultivate, seed, control weeds, insects and disease, harvest crops and raise livestock on the land in a sustainable manner; b) use pesticides in accordance with labelled directions; and c) minimize soil loss from erosion with the use of, but not limited to, crop residue management, conservation tillage, grassed waterways, stripcropping, tree planting or other accepted conservation practices. The tenant shall not: a) allow overgrazing of any of the land that is in grass or forages; b) overload nutrient levels on the land or adjacent water bodies; c) allow pesticide to drift on to non target lands, including adjacent crops, shelterbelts and yardsites; d) accumulate, permit or allow the accumulation of any waste material, debris, refuse or garbage; and e) allow any site contamination such as, but not limited to, chemicals, oil spills, hydro carbons or any other waste materials on the land or adjacent water bodies.
Resource Protection. To protect public resources, State may, at its discretion, temporarily close all or a portion of the Property to geoduck harvesting during the term of this contract. State shall notify Purchaser of any temporary closure and shall designate closed areas with shore and/or buoy markers.
