Resident Rights Clause Samples

The Resident Rights clause defines and protects the fundamental rights of individuals residing in a facility, such as a nursing home, apartment complex, or assisted living community. It typically outlines the resident's entitlement to privacy, dignity, freedom from discrimination, and participation in decisions affecting their living conditions. For example, it may ensure residents can access their personal records, receive visitors, or voice grievances without fear of retaliation. The core function of this clause is to safeguard residents' well-being and autonomy, ensuring they are treated fairly and respectfully within the facility.
