Residency Requirements. Employees whose positions are in the competitive class of Civil Service are required to live within the County of Niagara. Under exceptional circumstances and only with the approval of the County Manager or other such County official provided for by law, Niagara County Personnel Officer and the Niagara County Legislature, residency may be allowed outside the County of Niagara.
