Residence Check-In/Out. Upon arrival, the Residence will receive notification to complete the Room Inventory Form to indicate whether or not, upon occupancy, the contents and fabric of the Room are as described in the Form. The Resident will ensure that all furniture received is in the Room before the Room is vacated and will be liable for the cost of replacing any missing items. In the event that the Resident fails to submit the aforesaid form, the premises shall be deemed to be in a state of immaculate condition. The form is kept on file by the Residence Life Office for the purpose of comparison to the check-out inspection at the end of the Resident’s term.

Upon departure, the Resident must complete the check-out process. The Resident agrees to leave the premises at the end of the Agreement in the same or better condition as when the Resident took possession and in a clean and broom-swept condition, with all of the Resident’s possessions removed from the Room. The Resident will return their room key, mailbox key, and laundry card and internet equipment to the Front Desk. The student will make an appointment with their Don to check-out of the room. The Don and Resident will complete an inspection of the room, and then attend the Front Desk to complete the check-out process. Abandonment of the residence room does not constitute a check-out of a room and may be subject to penalties. Any changes to the physical condition of the premises or residence property that are deemed to have resulted from unacceptable use by the Resident will lead to additional charges and will be billed as per section 6.4 of this Agreement.

  • CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT 8.11.1 Specific check-in information will be provided to all Resident students via the Residential Life website (xxxxx://xxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx). A resident planning to check-in after the stated arrival period, must notify Residential Life prior to the stated check-in time.

  • CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT The University and the student will complete and sign a room inventory of occupied space, including the number and condition of furnishings and the condition of premises assigned to the student. This checklist will be completed again at the end of the student’s occupancy and will serve as the basis for determining billable damages to the room and furnishings. The University may require an interim inventory to be completed prior to the end of the student’s occupancy if the University has reason to believe that removal of the furnishings or substantial damage to the premises or property has occurred. Check-outs will occur, barring approval from University Housing, within 48 hours of the actionable event (i.e. Last final of the semester, withdrawal, etc.). Check-outs not occurring within the proscribed time period without the approval of University Housing will be considered an “Improper Check-Out” and will be subject to a $25 fee and any applicable lock and key replacement costs.

  • Residence Fees The Resident must pay the “Residence Fees” in accordance with the Rates and Payment Schedules detailed in Table 4 for the right to occupy a Room during the Term. Tables 2, 3 and 4 also detail additional Fees that the Resident is subject to, including the cost of Extended Terms. If a hard copy of this Agreement is required by the Manager, the Resident is required to select one of the payment schedule options, by initialing their desired option.

  • Termination of Check-Off An employee shall cease to be subject to check-off deductions beginning with the month immediately following the month in which he is no longer a member of the bargaining unit.

  • Check-In Check-in occurs when Student obtains keys to any Unit from the University, regardless of whether or not Student commences occupying the assigned Unit.

  • Sick Leave Days Payable at 100% Wages Permanent Employees Subject to paragraphs d), e) and f) below, Employees will be allocated eleven (11) sick days payable at one hundred percent (100%) of wages on the first day of each fiscal year, or the first day of employment.

  • Check Cashing We may charge a fee for anyone that does not have an account with us who is cashing a check, draft or other instrument written on your account. We may also require reasonable identification to cash such a check, draft or other instrument. We can decide what identification is reasonable under the circumstances and such identification may be documentary or physical and may include collecting a thumbprint or fingerprint. Truncation, Substitute Checks, and Other Check Images. If you truncate an original check and create a substitute check, or other paper or electronic image of the original check, you warrant that no one will be asked to make payment on the original check, a substitute check or any other electronic or paper image, if the payment obligation relating to the original check has already been paid. You also warrant that any substitute check you create conforms to the legal requirements and generally accepted specifications for substitute checks. You agree to retain the original check in conformance with our internal policy for retaining original checks. You agree to indemnify us for any loss we may incur as a result of any truncated check transaction you initiate. We can refuse to accept substitute checks that have not previously been warranted by a bank or other financial institution in conformance with the Check 21 Act. Unless specifically stated in a separate agreement between you and us, we do not have to accept any other electronic or paper image of an original check. Remotely Created Checks. Like any standard check or draft, a remotely created check (sometimes called a telecheck, preauthorized draft or demand draft) is a check or draft that can be used to withdraw money from an account. Unlike a typical check or draft, however, a remotely created check is not issued by the paying bank and does not contain the signature of the account owner (or a signature purported to be the signature of the account owner). In place of a signature, the check usually has a statement that the owner authorized the check or has the owner's name typed or printed on the signature line. For example, if a person provides an account number in response to a telephone solicitation, the telephone solicitor can use the account number to issue a remotely created check to withdraw money from that account. You warrant and agree to the following for every remotely created check we receive from you for deposit or collection: (1) you have received express and verifiable authorization to create the check in the amount and to the payee that appears on the check; (2) you will maintain proof of the authorization for at least 2 years from the date of the authorization, and supply us the proof if we ask; and

  • CHECK-OFF OF DUES It is the desire of the Union and the Employer to eliminate possible friction by the following arrangement:

  • CHECK-OFF 11.01 Subject to the provisions of this Article, the Employer will, as a condition of employment, deduct an amount equal to the monthly membership dues from the monthly pay of all employees. Where an employee does not have sufficient earnings in respect of any month to permit deductions made under this Article, the Employer shall not be obligated to make such deduction from subsequent salary.
