Residence Appeals. Residents wishing to appeal a fine, charge, or disciplinary sanction must appeal in writing to Student Housing & Residence Life within 5 days of the dated document. If the Resident received a fine, they are advised to pay all fees while their appeal is being reviewed in order to avoid service charges in their ACORN balance as Student Housing & Residence Life does not adjust services charges incurred.

Residence Appeals. Policy Residents wishing to appeal a fine, charge or disciplinary sanction must submit the Appeal Form to the Residence Services Desk within thirty (30) days of the dated document. The Appeal Form can be found on the StarRez webpage (xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xx). Residents are advised to pay their Residence Fees while their appeal is being reviewed in order to avoid service charges in their ACORN balance as Student Housing & Residence Life does not adjust service charges incurred. Decisions by Student Housing & Residence Life and/or by the University, other than those relating to the imposition of a fine, charge or disciplinary sanction, are not appealable.

  • Residence Community Living Standards The Residence Community Living Standards (“RCLS”) forms a part of this Agreement. It details the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of Residents as well as the residence conduct process. Each Resident is responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to the terms outlined within the RCLS. The Manager and the Institution may amend the terms of the RCLS from time to time and may post the amendments in the Residence. Failure to abide by the RCLS may result in eviction from Residence and termination of this Agreement as per the violations and sanctions outlined in the RCLS, and as stated in section 8.01(d).   • Health and Accident Insurance Unit members shall continue to be covered under the State's Group Health and Accident Insurance plan currently in effect pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 32A of the General Laws as amended or as such plan may be made available under applicable law of the Commonwealth. Pre-tax treatment of group health insurance contributions shall be implemented as soon as is administratively feasible. Benefits shall not be provided to part-time employees except as required by law; provided that Colleges that decide to provide benefits to part-time employees will discuss that issue with the MCCC prior to implementation; provided further that any part-time employee currently receiving benefits shall not lose those benefits.

  • Procurement of the Site 10.3.1 Pursuant to the notice specified in Clause 4.1.2, the Authority Representative and the Concessionaire shall, on a mutually agreed date and time, inspect the Site and prepare a memorandum containing an inventory of the Site including the vacant and unencumbered land, buildings, structures, road works, trees and any other immovable property on or attached to the Site. Such memorandum shall have appended thereto an appendix (the “Appendix”) specifying in reasonable detail those parts of the Site to which vacant access and Right of Way has not been granted to the Concessionaire. Signing of the memorandum, in two counterparts (each of which shall constitute an original), by the authorised representatives of the Parties shall, subject to the provisions of Clause 10.2.2, be deemed to constitute a valid licence and Right of Way to the Concessionaire for free and unrestricted use and development of the vacant and unencumbered Site during the Concession Period under and in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and for no other purpose whatsoever. For the avoidance of doubt, it is agreed that valid licence and Right of Way with respect to the parts of the Site as set forth in the Appendix shall be deemed to have been granted to the Concessionaire upon vacant access thereto being provided by the Authority to the Concessionaire.

  • Departmental Review If informal resolution of the problem through conciliation and negotiation cannot be effected, an aggrieved person may file a formal complaint with the departmental affirmative action coordinator or other designated official. Such a complaint must be filed on a form provided for this purpose and within five working days after the attempted resolution of the problem by the equal employment opportunity counselor or within twenty-five (25) working days after the date of the alleged discriminatory action, whichever shall first occur. The affirmative action coordinator will decide whether the complaint falls within the jurisdiction of the procedure and accept or reject it. Upon acceptance of the complaint, the affirmative action coordinator shall obtain the notes on the case from the equal employment opportunity counselor; may conduct a prompt, impartial investigation if he deems it necessary; shall explore the possibility of resolving the problem through negotiation or conciliation; shall present findings and recommendations on resolving the complaint to the agency/department head; and within forty-five (45) working days from the date the formal complaint was filed, shall present his written decision, as approved by the agency/department head, to the complainant, with a copy of the complaint and decision to be forwarded to the director of personnel.

  • Commercial Crime Insurance This policy is required only if Contractor handles or has regular access to a JBE’s funds or property of significant value to the JBE. This policy must cover dishonest acts including loss due to theft of money, securities, and property; forgery, and alteration of documents; and fraudulent transfer of money, securities, and property. The minimum liability limit must be $500,000.00. To the extent that Contractor utilizes subcontractors, all subcontractors shall comply with and perform in accordance with the provisions of this Section 3 (Insurance).
