  • General Description of Land Use 3.3.1 The use(s) of the Lands permitted by this Agreement are the following:

  • Public Purpose This IGA and the services contemplated herein are for the public welfare and benefit and are undertaken in accordance with the laws and Constitution of the State of Georgia.   • City’s Right to Suspend for Convenience City may suspend all or any portion of Contractor’s performance under this Contract at its sole option and for its convenience for a reasonable period of time not to exceed six (6) months. City must first give ten (10) days’ written notice to Contractor of such suspension. City will pay to Contractor a sum equivalent to the reasonable value of the goods and/or services satisfactorily provided up to the date of suspension. City may rescind the suspension prior to or at six (6) months by providing Contractor with written notice of the rescission, at which time Contractor would be required to resume performance in compliance with the terms and provisions of this Contract. Contractor will be entitled to an extension of time to complete performance under the Contract equal to the length of the suspension unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Parties.

  • Applicability of Land Use By-law and Subdivision By-law Except as otherwise provided for herein, the development, use and subdivision of the Lands shall comply with the requirements of the Land Use By-law for Halifax Peninsula and the Regional Subdivision By-law, as may be amended from time to time.

  • Interpretation of Lease The captions preceding the articles and sections of this Lease and in the table of contents have been inserted for convenience of reference only and such captions shall in no way define or limit the scope or intent of any provision of this Lease. Whenever the singular number is used in this Lease and when required by the context, the same includes the plural, the plural includes the singular, and the masculine gender includes the feminine and neuter genders, and the word “person” shall include corporation, partnership, firm, limited liability company, and association.

  • Governing Law; Construction This Agreement and any claim, counterclaim or dispute of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way relating to this Agreement (“Claim”), directly or indirectly, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York. The section headings in this Agreement have been inserted as a matter of convenience of reference and are not a part of this Agreement.
