Common use of Reservation of Authority Clause in Contracts

Reservation of Authority. The parties understand that the Board may not lawfully delegate the power or authority which, by law, is vested in it, nor may the Superintendent lawfully delegate the power or authority which, by law, is vested in him, and this Agreement shall not be construed so as to constitute a delegation of the power or authority of either.
