Along with convenience to patients and better treatment outcomes, it creates an ideal environment for conducting collaborative research. Some projects are jointly undertaken with the orthopedic biomechanics laboratory, which culls clinical and radiographic data from BMC patients. INTERDEPENDENT CARE AND RESEARCH The establishment of the Bone Metastases Clinic is an early step towards our goal of improving delivery of evidence- based, optimal care to this group of patients. While the end-product is health care delivery, the processes of delivery and research are interdependent. Through ongoing study and clinical trials, we expect to help advance knowledge of treatment for all patients with this disease.
