RESCHEDULING OF DAYS. Student instruction days in the calendar which are cancelled due to “act of God” (snow, ice, fog, epidemic, etc.) will be rescheduled as required by State Statute, the Department of Education, or the State Board of Education, insofar as the law allows. Teachers required to work both on “act of God” days and rescheduled days will be compensated at an individual teacher’s normal daily rate for days worked in excess of the teacher workdays as listed in the calendar. Teachers required to work only on rescheduled days (not “acts of God” days) will receive no additional compensation.
RESCHEDULING OF DAYS. 1. Should the cancellation of scheduled student instructional days or teacher in-service days result in the District being in violation of the law or subject to loss of state funding, the days will be rescheduled at the end of the normal school year or as agreed to by the Board and the Association. This process will be applied on a District-wide or building by building basis as is necessary.
RESCHEDULING OF DAYS. Scheduled days of student instruction which are not held for any reason may be rescheduled by the Board if it is necessary to do so in order to satisfy the minimum number of days of student instruction required by law or regulation or to receive full state aid. Employees will receive their regular pay for days that are canceled, but shall work on the rescheduled days with no additional compensation. Rescheduled days shall be added to the end of the calendar, unless the Board and Association mutually agree upon different dates.
