Requirement for Security. The District Council is entitled to require a Producer to post, no earlier than thirty (30) days prior to the commencement of work by the Guild Members, a security for payment sufficient to cover two (2) weeks’ Gross Remuneration of all Guild Members (to be based upon the production schedule provided by the Producer) and all District Council Remittances. The security for payment may take the form of a cash deposit to be held in trust by the District Council in an interest-bearing account, and all accrued interest shall be the property of the Producer, or at the Producer’s election, the security for payment may take the form of one or more irrevocable letters of credit in favour of the District Council, drawn on a Canadian chartered bank.

Duties of a Nurse Manager will substantially include, but are not confined to:  Providing leadership and role modelling, in collaboration with others Including the Clinical Nurse Consultant and the Nurse Educator, particularly in the areas of action research and quality assurance programs;  Staff selection and education; allocation and rostering of staff;  Occupational health;  Initiation and evaluation of research related to staff and resource management;  Participating in policy development and implementation;  Acting as a consultant on request in the employee’s own area of proficiency (for the purpose of facilitating the provision of quality nursing care);  Being accountable for the management of human and material resources within a specified span of control, including the development and evaluation of staffing methodologies; and  Managing financial matters, budget preparation and cost control in respect of nursing within that span of control. Duties of a Nurse Educator will substantially include, but are not confined to:  Providing leadership and role modelling, in collaboration with others including the Clinical Nurse Consultant and the Nurse Manager, particularly in the areas of action research;  Implementation and evaluation of staff education and development programs;  Staff selection;  Implementation and evaluation of patient or client education programs;

  • Contractor Security Clearance Customers may designate certain duties and/or positions as positions of “special trust” because they involve special trust responsibilities, are located in sensitive locations, or have key capabilities with access to sensitive or confidential information. The designation of a special trust position or duties is at the sole discretion of the Customer. Contractor or Contractor’s employees and Staff who, in the performance of this Contract, will be assigned to work in positions determined by the Customer to be positions of special trust, may be required to submit to background screening and be approved by the Customer to work on this Contract.
