Common use of Required Licenses and Permits Clause in Contracts

Required Licenses and Permits. Except as disclosed in the Prospectus, the Company, the Partnership or the Lessee owns, possesses, has obtained or has commitments to obtain, and has made available for your review, all material permits, licenses, franchises (including, with respect to the Lessee, the franchises relating to the Hotels), certificates, consents, orders, approvals, and other authorizations of governmental or regulatory authorities as are necessary to own or lease, as the case may be, and to operate their respective properties and to carry on their respective businesses as presently conducted, or as contemplated in the Prospectus to be conducted (the "Permits"), and none of the Company, the Partnership or the Lessee has received any notice of proceedings relating to revocation or modification of any such Permits.
