Required Below. The consequence of not following the Xxxxxxxx Park District’s (APD) All Weather Fields Rental Agreement and Policies may result in the loss of your deposit and/or your event being cancelled early or completely. • My signature below signifies that I am at least 18 years of age and that I have read and understand the rental policies/rules outlined on pages 1 through 6. • My signature below signifies that I am an authorized official of the organization submitting this application and that I have the authority to legally bind the organization to the following. • I agree on behalf of myself and my organization to accept responsibility for all of the conditions of this application, all of the conditions of any permit(s) issued based upon this application, and to abide by all the APD Rules and Regulations, and Rental Agreement and Policies pertaining to use of the All Weather Field. • I also agree to pay the APD all costs the Park District may incur as a result of any failure to fully comply with all these conditions. • I, and my organization, agree to voluntarily release, discharge, waive, and relinquish the APD from any and all actions or causes of action for personal injury (including death) or property damage occurring to anybody arising as a result of my or my organization’s use of the All Weather Field. • I, and my organization, agree that under no circumstances, except those circumstances caused by the sole active recklessness or willful misconduct of the APD, will I, my organization, or any heirs, executors, administrators and assigns prosecute or present any claim of personal injury (including wrongful death) or property damage against the APD or any of its officers, agents, servants, or employees arising as a result of me or my organization’s use of the All Weather Field. • For all events held at the APD, renters are required to name Xxxxxxxx Park District as a certificate holder to their insurance. The certificate with APD being named must be mailed to: Xxxxxxxx Park District, Attn: Fields, 0000 Xxxxxxxxx Xxx., Xxxxxxxxxx, XX 00000. Failure to obtain proper insurance can result in cancellation of event and forfeiture of all fees. • I declare that the information contained in this Field Request Form is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I further acknowledge that the rental deposit may be forfeited and/or my event may be cancelled if this application contains any intentional misrepresentations.

  • Emergency Condition A condition or situation (i) that in the judgment of any Interconnection Party is imminently likely to endanger life or property; or (ii) that in the judgment of the Interconnected Transmission Owner or Transmission Provider is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to, the Transmission System, the Interconnection Facilities, or the transmission systems or distribution systems to which the Transmission System is directly or indirectly connected; or (iii) that in the judgment of Interconnection Customer is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause damage to the Customer Facility or to the Customer Interconnection Facilities. System restoration and black start shall be considered Emergency Conditions, provided that a Generation Interconnection Customer is not obligated by an Interconnection Service Agreement to possess black start capability. Any condition or situation that results from lack of sufficient generating capacity to meet load requirements or that results solely from economic conditions shall not constitute an Emergency Condition, unless one or more of the enumerated conditions or situations identified in this definition also exists.

  • Emergency School Closing 24.1 If as determined by the Superintendent, circumstances of weather, energy crisis, power failure, lack of water or heat, work stoppage, epidemic or other civil or natural emergencies, including threats or acts of violence, make it impossible or unsafe to open the schools or to keep open a school or schools, then the Superintendent shall act in such emergency situations to preserve and protect the lives and property of pupils and staff personnel.   • Emergency Conditions “Emergency Condition” shall mean a condition or situation: (1) that in the judgment of the Party making the claim is imminently likely to endanger life or property; or (2) that, in the case of the Transmission Provider, is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to the Transmission System, the Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities or the Transmission Systems of others to which the Transmission System is directly connected; or (3) that, in the case of the Interconnection Customer, is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to, the Small Generating Facility or the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities. Under Emergency Conditions, the Transmission Owner may immediately suspend interconnection service and temporarily disconnect the Small Generating Facility. The Transmission Provider shall notify the Interconnection Customer promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Interconnection Customer’s operation of the Small Generating Facility. The Interconnection Customer shall notify the Transmission Provider promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Transmission Owner’s Transmission System or other Affected Systems. To the extent information is known, the notification shall describe the Emergency Condition, the extent of the damage or deficiency, the expected effect on the operation of both Parties’ facilities and operations, its anticipated duration, and the necessary corrective action.
