Common use of Requesting Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Requesting Leave of Absence. Upon application to the Chief of the Department, a leave of absence may be granted, without pay, to employees for thirty (30) calendar days. Requests for more than thirty (30) calendar days may be recommended by the Chief of the Department, but must be approved by the Director of Personnel and the Chief Executive of the City; or
