Requesting Crediting of CTT. Employee will request the crediting of CTT within 30 days of returning to duty. Employees are encouraged to submit their request for crediting of CTT within 5 days of their return to duty. To request CTT, the employee will submit an e-mail or written memo to the immediate supervisor. The employee will include the date and time of departure and return, the purpose of travel, the location of departure and destination, waiting times, and unusual delays. The supervisor will inform the employee within seven days if the request is approved or denied. If the request is denied, the supervisor will provide a written explanation of the reason for the denial. The employee may request reconsideration of the denial, but if the supervisor denies the reconsideration request, the employee may file a grievance under Article 42.
