Common use of Reporting Pay Clause in Contracts

Reporting Pay. Employees who report for any scheduled shift will be guaranteed at least four (4) hours of work, or if no work is available will be paid at least four (4) hours except when work is not available due to conditions beyond the control of the Hospital. The reporting allowance outlined as herein shall not apply whenever an employee has received prior notice not to report for work. Part-time employees scheduled to work less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours per day will receive a pro-rated amount of reporting pay.

Part-time employees scheduled to work less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours per day will receive a pro-rated amount of reporting pay.

Part-time employees scheduled to work less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours per day will receive a pro-rated amount of reporting pay.

Employees who report for work on any full eight (8) hour shift for which they are scheduled shift and for which they have not been notified not to report, will be guaranteed at least four (4) hours pay. Where such employee is scheduled for less than a full shift, and qualifies for reporting pay, the amount of work, or if no work is available will reporting pay shall be paid at least calculated as a proportion of the maximum four (4) hours except when work is not available due to conditions beyond allowable in the control ratio that the hours for which such employee was scheduled constitutes a proportion of the Hospital.
