Reporting Hours. Employees will continue to report work hours in a manner consistent with their assigned work schedule and follow existing City policies and procedures and the provisions agreed to in the respective Memorandum of Understanding (MOU); pay will be provided consistent with these as well as state and federal law. All time teleworked will be reported on the employee’s timecard using the appropriate payroll notation for telework. Leave Requests/Time Off: Employees who need to take time off while teleworking, such as vacation or sick leave, must follow existing departmental practices for requesting time off and report appropriate leave on their timecards. Employees who are not able to telework during an approved telework day must use the appropriate leave time. Overtime: Non-exempt employees must receive approval from their supervisor prior to working overtime.
