Replacement Employees. (a) A replacement employee is an employee specifically engaged or temporarily promoted or transferred as a result of an employee proceeding on parental leave.

If the Hospital is unable to find a suitable replacement, it may postpone the leave. If, after a period of postponement, a suitable temporary replacement cannot be found, the Hospital will have the option of considering a further postponement or of collapsing the plan.
