Renewal of Franchise. A. The Franchising Authority and the Grantee agree that any proceedings undertaken by the Franchising Authority that relate to the renewal of the Grantee’s Franchise shall be governed by and comply with the renewal provisions of federal law.

Renewal of Franchise. The Township and the Franchisee agree that any proceedings undertaken by the Township that relate to the renewal of this Franchise shall be governed by and comply with the provisions of Section 626 of the Communications Act, 47 U.S.C. § 546.

If you fulfill our upgrading and other then-current requirements, we will grant you a new license in the form of agreement then in use by us. If you are granted a new license, you (and if you are an entity, your owners) will be required to execute a general release, in a form satisfactory to us, of any and all claims against us and our subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, agents, employees, representatives and servants, including claims arising under this Agreement and federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. If you are not granted a new license, we will return the renewal fee less expenses incurred in processing your application. During the pendency of your application for the issuance of a new license, royalty fees and Marketing Fund contributions will be paid at the rate specified in this Agreement. Upon issuance of the new license agreement, fees must be paid at the rates specified in the new license agreement, which may be greater than the rates specified in this Agreement.
