Remote Pay. Full-time education support Employees assigned to remote or isolated areas as of July 31, 2003 shall receive an incentive allotment in addition to their regular salary. Following are the rates: Indian Springs 1,200 Goodsprings 1,600 Searchlight 1,600 Spring Mountain 1,200 Moapa Valley 1,200 Virgin Valley 1,200 Xxxxx Valley 1,600 Laughlin 2,000 Mount Charleston 1,200 Calville Bay (resident only) 1,200 Employees new to these remote or isolated areas on August 1, 2003 and thereafter shall not receive remote pay.

Remote Pay. Employees covered by this collective bargaining agreement (CBA) who are assigned to the Spring Mountain Youth Camp shall receive remote area pay of $250.00 per pay period, provided the employee works at least one shift within the pay period. Remote pay will not be reported as compensation to the Public Employees Retirement System for the purpose of including same in the calculation of retirement benefits for employees receiving such pay.

  • Overtime Voluntary The Parties are agreed that all overtime will be voluntary.

  • Leave Without Pay for Personal Needs Leave without pay will be granted for personal needs, in the following manner:

  • Authorized Leave Without Pay A. Agency/Departmental Leave‌ A regular, limited-term or probationary employee may request an agency/departmental leave without pay for a period of time not to exceed fifteen (15) calendar days. The granting of such Leave shall be at the discretion of the agency/department, except in cases where Official Leave has been authorized pursuant to B.4., B.5. and Sections 10, 11.A. and 14, below. The agency/department head may require that all accumulated compensatory leave time be used prior to granting of agency/departmental leave. The use of earned vacation or annual leave prior to the obtaining of agency/departmental leave shall be at the option of the employee.

  • Leave Without Pay for the Care and Nurturing of Pre-School Age Children Subject to operational requirements, an employee shall be granted leave without pay for the personal care and nurturing of the employee's pre-school age children in accordance with the following conditions:

  • Parental Leave Without Pay (a) Where an employee has or will have the actual care and custody of a new-born child (including the new-born child of a common-law partner), the employee shall, upon request, be granted parental leave without pay for a single period of up to thirty-seven (37) consecutive weeks in the fifty-two (52) week period beginning on the day on which the child is born or the day on which the child comes into the employee’s care.

  • Accrual of Sick Leave a. A full-time employee shall accrue four (4) hours of sick leave for each biweekly pay period, or the number of hours that are directly proportionate to the number of days worked during less than a full-pay period, without limitation as to the total number of hours that may be accrued.

  • Report Pay An employee who is pre-scheduled to work an overtime shift in a 24-hour facility and reports to duty will be guaranteed three (3) hours overtime pay at the appropriate rate unless the employee is a holdover from a previous shift. The Employer shall notify employees as soon as practical prior to their scheduled start time in the event the employee is not required to report for prescheduled overtime. Department of Transportation employees will continue to receive the greater benefits under callback pay when applicable.
