Remote Check Deposit. You may load a check made out to you as the payee into your Card Account by downloading the MyVanilla mobile app to your mobile device and following the instructions provided in the app. The load process will require you to submit an image of the check along with your 13-digit Direct Deposit account number. This service is provided by a third party money transfer service provider. To use it, you need to agree to the terms and conditions the service provider establishes from time to time. These terms and conditions may include certain fees for use of the service that are charged by the service provider. The terms and conditions, including the applicable fees, will be provided to you when you sign up for the service. You will also be notified about any fee for a particular deposit before you authorize it. Generally, you will not have access to the money you load via remote check capture until your check clears (typically seven (7) business days). The service provider may offer immediate funds availability for a fee. Remote Check Deposit. We will provide the Remote Deposit Service that permits you to submit electronic check images and associated information (“Check Images”) to us via a XXXXX compliant scanner from your desktop or laptop computer (“Scanner”) or an approved mobile device (“Mobile Device”) for deposit to your account(s) in lieu of certain original checks (“Original Checks”). The Remote Deposit Service is only available if you enroll for it separately and you are enrolled in our eBranch electronic banking services (to use a Mobile Device with Remote Deposit Service, you also must enroll in Mobile Banking). In providing the Remote Deposit Service, we may utilize and rely upon one or more third party service providers to provide file acknowledgement, file transmission, database storage, database access, data communications and other services to the Credit Union. The Credit Union may change the service provider at any time. You waive any and all rights or recourse, directly or indirectly, against any service provider. You may submit Check Image deposits to us or our service provider only with respect to Original Checks that are acceptable for deposit into your account(s) and as further described in this Agreement. Check Image deposits are subject to all provisions of the account agreements between you and us that apply to check deposits. The total amount of Check Images we will accept on any one (1) day cannot exceed the amount set forth on the Remote Deposit Service home page. This amount may be modified by us from time to time without any prior notice to you. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may choose in our sole discretion to process Check Images that exceed this limit.

You are not authorized to provide the Issuer’s bank routing number and the 13-digit Direct Deposit account number to anyone other than your employer or a payer.

If you have an Iphone® or an Ipad®, search for “NC Community Credit Union ” in the Apple ITunes® store to download. Checks deposited remotely are subject to our standard Funds Availability policy; see this section of this agreement for further information. NCCFCU reserves the right to revoke the privilege of any RCD user at any time for activity that is deemed suspicious, fraudulent or abusive in any way. ATM operator/network Fees: You may be charged a surcharge fee by the owner of a non-NCCFCU ATM or by the network used and you may be charged for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a funds transaction. NCCFCU charges you $2.00 when you use a non-NCCFCU ATM. #myCU checking accounts are eligible for two FREE foreign ATM usages each month; WorkPerks checking accounts and Select checking accounts are eligible for one FREE foreign ATM usage per month.

Remote Check Deposit. Remote Check Deposit services are designed to permit you to make deposits to allowable accounts from home or other remote locations by scanning or taking pictures of checks and delivering the images and associated deposit information to us. FEES: All standard fees set forth in our Fee Schedule apply to Remote Check Deposit. We reserve the right to charge for these Services in the future. ELIGIBILITY/SERVICE TERMINATION: Not all accounts are eligible for Remote Check Deposit. The eligibility of any account is determined at the Credit Union’s sole discretion. It is your responsibility to update/upgrade your software and/or equipment as necessary to ensure that you can utilize these Services. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER: Remote Check Deposit services are made available pursuant to a license agreement. Any interruption of Service or access will prevent your use of the Service. To utilize the Services, you will need to login to Mobile Banking and otherwise satisfy our security procedures. The total amount of Check Images we will accept on any one (1) cannot exceed the amounts based upon your account status. Please note your determined limit will appear within the app. This amount may be modified by us from time to time. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may choose in our sole discretion to process Check Images that exceed this limit. Upon receipt of the Check Image, CAP COM and/or our TPSP will review the Check Image for acceptability. You understand and agree that receipt of a Check Image does not occur until after we notify you of receipt of the Check Image via the Deposit History feature. You understand that, in the event you receive a notification from CAP COM confirming receipt of a Check Image, such notification does not mean that the Check Image is free from errors or that CAP COM is responsible for any information you transmit to CAP COM. CAP COM is not responsible for any Check Image that is not received from you. Following receipt of the Check Image, CAP COM may process the Check Image by preparing a "substitute check" or clearing the item as a Check Image. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, CAP COM reserves the right, within its sole and absolute discretion, to accept or reject any item for remote deposit into your account. CAP COM's acceptance of your check(s) does not guarantee the check(s) will clear the payee's account.
