Reliability Test. During the 30 day Reliability Test the Disk System must meet the following criteria:  No loss or corruption of data; and  No component failure except for Disks; and  No more than one in 100 Disks per Disk System may fail during the Reliability Test period, and this must not result in loss of data (if the Disk System includes less than 100 disks, only one Disk failure during the Reliability Test for that Disk System is acceptable). In the event that the Reliability Test is not successfully completed during the first 30 consecutive days from its commencement the Reliability Test may be restarted once.
Reliability Test. The Reliability Test consists of a 720-hour period of operation of the Facility, will be conducted in accordance with the procedures and protocols described in Clause 7.0 below, and is a requirement for achieving Final Completion. Seller shall participate with Buyer in a Reliability Test to demonstrate to Owner that the Facility can achieve an Equivalent Availability Factor of 92% or better during the 720 hour Reliability Test period. The period of testing for the Reliability Test shall commence whenever the Facility is ready after the startup of the Facility and continue until the Facility has achieved the guaranteed Equivalent Availability Factor or better over a period of 720 hours, but not beyond the Guaranteed Final Completion Date. Subject to Clause 2.0 X.x, above, Buyer may at any time look back over the test data and designate the time period to be declared as the Reliability Test. Full outage due to Force Majeure events or interruptions because the power purchaser cannot or will not accept power, and the related time required to shut down and restart for these outages, will not be counted as test hours and will extend the 720 hour test period.

Reliability Test. The Contractor will demonstrate the equivalent availability of each Unit during a continuous rolling 96 hour Reliability Test period. During the period, each Unit shall achieve an equivalent availability of 99%, during 88 of the 96 hours. During the 96-hour period, the combustion turbine or steam turbine shall not trip, or the Unit shall not operate at less than 70 percent of the un-fired, un-augmented capacity of the Unit. Equivalent availability is defined as follows: Where A= Total number of hours during the Contractor-selected 88 hours of the 96 hour Reliability Test that the Unit is operated with breakers closed to the substation and (i) the combustion turbine is operated on its baseload firing curve and at maximum power augmentation consistent with equipment limitations for shaft power, equipment cooling, and the HRSG and steam turbine operating pressures are at their respective design operating levels, (ii) any hour the Unit is dispatched below the conditions of (i) above, and the Unit is capable of operating at 100 percent of the dispatch requirement.
Reliability Test. The period of the Reliability Test will demonstrate reliable continuous operation of the Facility. The Reliability Test will be conducted to demonstrate that the Facility can meet 98.5% Availability, over a continuous 168 hour period, conditional upon adequate supply of the Geothermal Fluid and the electrical grid. The test results will be recorded per the attached “Test Record of Reliability Test”. Performance Test - Raft River EPC Contract, Exhibit D Rev 0 – 12/05/05 Calculation of Availability Availability will be calculated as follows. Availability (%) = HG / PH where: HG = Hours of Generation = (PH – LH) During the Reliability Test, the hours of generation shall include brine flow variation from 50% to 110% of design brine flow and manual trips of a production well pump and a pentane feed pump to verify stable operation under ordinary and expected upset conditions. Pump trips shall be undertaken at the discretion of Contractor within the 1st 24 hours of the test. Load change rate will be limited to 2 MW/minute, except after a pump trip. In any case, the minimum Brine flow shall be above 50% of Design Conditions during the test. LH = Lost Hours of Generation In the event that the Facility trips during the Reliability Test, the Lost Hours of Generation (in hours) shall be the time that it takes to return to the generation level that preceded the trip, or the particular event that induced the trip. PH = = Period Hours of the Reliability Test Period 168 hours (minimum). Criteria for Completion of the Reliability Test Upon completion of the minimum 168 hour test period, the Reliability Test will be deemed passed if the calculated Availability is greater than or equal to 98.5%. If the Availability is less than 98.5%, the test may continue on an hour by hour basis until the Reliability Test has been passed, upon agreement of Contractor and Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. At any time during the test, Contractor may choose to forfeit the test and restart at a later time.
Reliability Test. Unless the Parties agree otherwise in respect of a specific model of the Product, the standard reliability test of the Buyer shall apply. The Party may agree for more details in separate inspection specifications.
