Released Time for Other Positions. Licensed staff in the following positions shall have released time as outlined: Athletic Director 3 released periods per school year Activity Director 2 released periods per school year Assistant Case Manager 1 released period per school year Mentor Coordinator 2 released periods per school year English Language Learner (ELL) released periods based on students in program* Building Coordinator Intervention Coach (MTSS Coordinator) 2 released periods per school year The Assistant Case Manager will assume a portion of the duties of the department chairperson of special programs. The addition of any other special education program(s) to the district will involve a meeting to determine appropriate released time to facilitate the program. To facilitate the additional responsibilities associated with the District Programs of Low Incidence Handicapped one additional period of released time will be given to the assistant case manager of the building where all of these programs are housed. The Administration will consult the Faculty Association to discuss the reason for the relocation and the impact of the same on the affected Assistant Case Manager(s). *Released periods for the ELL Coordinator position will be awarded as follows: 1 released period: 1-50 students per building 2 released periods: 51-100 students per building 3 released periods: 101-150 students per building 4 released periods: 151 or more students per building Adjustments to released periods will be reviewed each semester based on the master schedule. The Administration and the Faculty Association recognize the need to remain in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education guidelines with regard to English Language Learners. Each building will have an ELL Coordinator when the ELL student population requires ELL services. If the Association has any concerns about adequate materials or support, those concerns should be raised with the ELL Administrative Director, who, if necessary, will set up a meeting with the Association to review and discuss the situation. The evaluation process will be followed before removing an employee from an appointed position. Prior to posting any position requiring release period(s) and/or stipends, the administration and association shall meet and come to a mutual agreement related to release period(s) and/or stipends.   • Released Time for Negotiations No more than six (6) negotiating team employee representatives designated by the Union shall be released from duty with no loss of pay and with mileage reimbursement for the purpose of attending negotiation meetings with the District pursuant to this Agreement. The Union and the District may agree that additional employees shall receive such released time.

  • Release Time for Negotiations CSEA shall have the right to designate a maximum of six (6) employees, who shall be given reasonable release time to participate in negotiations.

  • VACANCIES, TERM POSITIONS AND NEW POSITIONS 3001 Subject to section 3002 herein, the Employer agrees to post notices of vacant, term or new positions covered under this Agreement for at least seven (7) days to enable nurses presently in the employ of the Employer to apply for same. Such posting shall not preclude the Employer from advertising outside the site premises. All postings shall state minimum qualifications required, the equivalent to full-time (E.F.T.) and date of closing of the competition.   • Leave for Negotiations Members of the MSEA-SEIU bargaining team (whose numbers shall not exceed three (3) for each unit plus the President and/or Vice President of MSEA-SEIU) shall suffer no loss in pay or benefits for participation in negotiations for a successor Agreement. Additionally, leave may be requested for other members necessary for par- ticipation on specific negotiations issues and such leave shall not be unreasonably denied. MSEA-SEIU shall give reasonable notice to the Office of Employee Relations of the names of those bargaining team members who will be attending particular bargaining sessions. MSEA-SEIU recognizes that exceptional circumstances might preclude the release of an individual on a particular day. No additional compensation shall be paid if negotiations extend beyond the end of an employee's normal work hours. However, a good faith effort shall be made to schedule non-standard workweek employees so that their days off shall not fall on days of negotiations. Any designated employee who has a State vehicle assigned shall be allowed to use the vehicle while traveling to and from negotiations. Such employee shall be considered to be in duty status and shall have his/her uniform available for necessary use.

  • VACANCIES AND NEW POSITIONS 17.01 The Gallery shall post notice of permanent and temporary job vacancies subject to Article 4 – Temporary Full-Time Employees for a period of seven (7) calendar days before any such job is filled. Probationary employees shall not be entitled to apply for posted vacancies. It is agreed that the Gallery will not interview external applicants until applications from existing employees have been reviewed and bargaining unit employees who are qualified in the opinion of the Gallery have been interviewed. Further, the Gallery will notify existing applicants in writing once the successful application is selected.

  • New Positions A. Each newly created position shall be assigned by the Employer to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within thirty (30) days after its creation. Before such assignment of each new position the Employer shall consult with the Union for the purpose of assigning the new position to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position. The following criteria shall be used in making this determination:

  • Right to Receive and Release Needed Information Certain facts are needed to apply these COB rules. The Plan has the right to de­ cide which facts it needs. It may get needed facts from or give them to any other organization or person. The Plan need not tell, or get the consent of, any person to do this. Each person claiming benefits under this Benefit Program must give the Plan any facts it needs to pay the Claim. FACILITY OF PAYMENT A payment made under another Benefit Program may include an amount that should have been paid under this Benefit Program. If it does, the Plan may pay that amount to the organization that made the payment under the other Benefit Program. That amount will then be treated as though it were a benefit paid under this Benefit Program. The Plan will not have to pay that amount again. The term “payment made” includes providing benefits in the form of services, in which case “payment made” means reasonable cash value of the benefits provided in the form of services. RIGHT OF RECOVERY If the amount of payments made by the Plan is more than it should have paid un­ der this COB provision, it may recover the excess from one or more of:

  • Release Time for Interviews Release time will be granted to represented individuals for the purposes of interviewing for positions within the University.

  • Notice of Changed Positions In the event that the Employer introduces significant changes to an existing job such that the job description is substantially altered, the Employer shall give written notice to the Union outlining the changes which have taken place, along with the Employer's proposal for a change in the wage rate, if any. Should the Union object to the proposed wage rate, such objection to the wage rate must be made in writing, within thirty (30) days of notification by the Employer. If no written objection is received by the Employer, then the wage rate shall be considered as agreed to. If the wage rate proposed by the Employer for the changed job is revised as a result of negotiation or arbitration, then the revised wage rate shall be effective from the date on which the changes were implemented.
