Released Time for Association Conferences and Sessions. Each school year, the Association will be allowed seventy-eight (78) hours of released time for employees to attend conferences and training sessions endorsed by the Association, without loss of pay from the employeesscheduled work. Additional hours of release time may be granted by the Administration if the Association requests and the employee is engaging in professional development or some form of training that will benefit the District. Advance prior written notice to the supervisor and Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee of at least fifteen (15) workdays shall occur.

  • Attendance at Conferences and Conventions (a) The parties to this Agreement recognize that attendance or participation at conferences, conventions, symposia, workshops and other gatherings of a similar nature contributes to the maintenance of high professional standards.

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. Requests for attendance are submitted through the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor, and forwarded to the President/Superintendent for approval at his/her sole discretion. A follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.

  • Office of Inspector General Investigative Findings Expert Review In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 531.102(m-1)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.
