Release Notification. To perfect the release of the Leases and Contract Acreage as specified herein, McMoRan shall, on or before the end of the applicable release period as defined in Sections 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3 above, prepare and deliver to Texaco a written document identifying the Leases and Contract Acreage which McMoRan has selected for release. Any release document submitted to Texaco will be effective no later than the last day of the Option Period on which such acreage is being released. Upon delivery of the release document(s) to Texaco, the rights and options granted McMoRan under this Agreement as to the released Leases and Contract Acreage shall terminate. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, in no event shall the execution of a release as described in this Article 10 relieve McMoRan of any financial obligation that has been incurred or accrued pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Termination; Release (a) After the Termination Date (as defined below), this Agreement shall terminate (provided that all indemnities set forth herein including, without limitation, in Section 11 hereof shall survive any such termination) and the Pledgee, at the request and expense of the respective Pledgor, will promptly execute and deliver to such Pledgor a proper instrument or instruments acknowledging the satisfaction and termination of this Agreement, and will duly assign, transfer and deliver to such Pledgor (without recourse and without any representation or warranty) such of the Collateral as may be in the possession of the Pledgee and as has not theretofore been sold or otherwise applied or released pursuant to this Agreement.
