Release from Assignment. A teacher engaged during the school day in negotiating on behalf of the Association with any representative of the Board or participating in any grievance shall be released from regular duties without loss of salary or sick leave when such meeting is held during the school day at the request of the Board, administration, arbitrator or public authority.

Release from Assignment. An employee engaged during the school day in negotiating on behalf of the Association or participating in any grievance negotiation, including arbitration, shall be released from regular duties without loss of salary.
Release from Assignment. Should the investigation of any grievance require, in the judgment of the Superintendent, that an employee be released from his or her regular assignment, he or she will be released without loss of pay or benefits.

  • Release from Duty When the best interest of the County requires the immediate removal of the employee from his/her position, any employee may be released from regularly assigned duties with pay and benefits by the Department Head for a period not to exceed eighty (80) working hours upon the approval of the Personnel Director. Upon showing of good cause by the appointing authority, such release from duty may be extended up to an additional eighty (80) work hours by the Personnel Director.
