Relations or Designee. The parties acknowledge that orderly administration of the contract grievance procedure requires the Director of the Office of Labor Relations to play an active role in the contract grievance procedure. Accordingly, no grievance shall be deemed ripe for submission to arbitration unless and until the Director of the Office of Labor Relations or designee has had an opportunity to resolve the grievance. An unresolved grievance may be appealed to said Director within seven (7) days of the date of the Step II response, or, in the case of a grievance ripe for submission directly to Step III, within the period specified in Section 5. Said Director or his/her designated representative shall hold a conference within thirty (30) days of receipt of the grievance and issue a written response within fifteen (15) days of the conference.

In addition, the following matters shall be submitted directly to Step III: grievances concerning dismissal, suspension or demotion pursuant to Article 16; class reevaluation appeals pursuant to Article 21; institutional grievances concerning the bargaining unit as a whole or more than one agency. Said Director or his/her designated representative shall hold a conference within sixty (60) days of receipt of the grievance and issue a written response within fifteen (15) days of the conference.

  • Reporting of Abuse, Neglect, or Exploitation Consistent with provisions of 33 V.S.A. §4913(a) and §6903, any agent or employee of a Contractor who, in the performance of services connected with this agreement, has contact with clients or is a caregiver and who has reasonable cause to believe that a child or vulnerable adult has been abused or neglected as defined in Chapter 49 or abused, neglected, or exploited as defined in Chapter 69 of Title 33 V.S.A. shall make a report involving children to the Commissioner of the Department for Children and Families within 24 hours or a report involving vulnerable adults to the Division of Licensing and Protection at the Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living within 48 hours. This requirement applies except in those instances where particular roles and functions are exempt from reporting under state and federal law. Reports involving children shall contain the information required by 33 V.S.A. §4914. Reports involving vulnerable adults shall contain the information required by 33 V.S.A. §6904. The Contractor will ensure that its agents or employees receive training on the reporting of abuse or neglect to children and abuse, neglect or exploitation of vulnerable adults.

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Transition of Services Upon request by the State prior to expiration or earlier termination of this Contract or any Services provided in this Contract, Contractor shall provide reasonable and necessary assistance to accomplish a complete transition of the Services from Contractor to the State or any replacement provider designated solely by the State without any interruption of or adverse impact on the Services. Contractor shall cooperate fully with the State or any successor provider and shall promptly take all steps required to assist in effecting a complete transition of the Services designated by the State. All services related to such transition shall be performed at no additional cost beyond what would be paid for the Services in this Contract.
