Rehired Retired Teachers. 26.1 A. Definition: “Rehired, Retired Teacher” (RRT) shall mean a teacher, as defined by the Negotiated Agreement, who has entered regular or early retirement from a Maryland school system under the provisions of the State Personnel and Pensions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland. All other provisions of the Negotiated Agreement shall apply to RRTs except those specifically excluded or amended below:
Rehired Retired Teachers. 1. Teachers who are retired from any Indiana school corporation who are hired by the Southwestern Jefferson County Consolidated School Corporation will be paid $58,000.00.
Rehired Retired Teachers. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, if the Employer elects, in its sole discretion, to employ an individual who has retired and is receiving benefits through the State Teachers Retirement System, such individual shall be employed under a special limited contract, defined below.   • Retired Teachers The BOARD may employ and assign retired teachers as day-to-day substi- tutes for no more than one hundred school days during the school year and shall pay such teachers the rate paid to day-to-day substitutes. The BOARD shall compensate such retired teachers in accor- dance with Appendix A-1L. Such retired teachers shall not be eligible for any other benefits provided to bargaining unit employees under this Agreement. The BOARD agrees that the employment and as- signment of retired teachers shall not result in the displacement of any appointed or assigned teacher.

  • EMPLOYMENT OF RETIRED TEACHERS A. For purposes of salary schedule placement, a retired Teacher will be granted a maximum of ten (10) years’ service credit and their educational attainment. A retired Teacher may not advance beyond Level 10 on the salary schedule.

  • Non-Vested Retirement Gratuity for Teachers 1. The minimum years of service for retirement gratuity shall be defined as the lesser of the contractual minimal service requirement in the 2008-2012 collective agreement, or ten (10) years.

  • Newly Hired Teachers Newly hired Teachers shall be paid in Category A1 until such time as they provide proof of a different category classification.

  • Beneficiary Rollovers from Employer-Sponsored Retirement Plans If you are a spouse Beneficiary, nonspouse Beneficiary, or the trustee of an eligible type of trust named as Beneficiary of a deceased employer plan participant, you may directly roll over inherited assets from a qualified retirement plan, 403(a) annuity, 403(b) tax-sheltered annuity, or 457(b) governmental deferred compensation plan to an inherited IRA. The IRA must be maintained as an inherited IRA, subject to the beneficiary distribution requirements.

  • Deferred Retirement a. An employee who, upon separation from County service, is eligible for paid retirement and elects deferred retirement must defer participation in the Grant until such time as he or she becomes an active retiree.

  • Disability Retirement If, as a result of your incapacity due to physical or mental illness, You shall have been absent from the full-time performance of your duties with the Company for 6 consecutive months, and within 30 days after written notice of termination is given You shall not have returned to the full-time performance of your duties, your employment may be terminated for "Disability." Termination of your employment by the Company or You due to your "Retirement" shall mean termination in accordance with the Company's retirement policy, including early retirement, generally applicable to its salaried employees or in accordance with any retirement arrangement established with your consent with respect to You.

  • Rehires An employee returning to service with the County after a break in service into a classification in which he / she has previously passed probation shall serve a new 6-month probationary period from the date of re-hire.

  • VESTED RETIREMENT GRATUITY VOLUNTARY EARLY PAYOUT a) An Employee eligible for a Sick Leave Credit retirement gratuity as per Appendix A shall have the option of receiving a payout of his/her gratuity on August 31, 2016, or on the employee’s normal retirement date.
