Common use of Regular Hours Clause in Contracts

Regular Hours. The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by a lunch period. All employees shall be scheduled to work on a regular work shift, and each work shift shall have a regular starting and quitting time. Work schedules showing the employees’ shifts, workdays, and hours shall be posted in each building or provided to the Union upon request. Except in emergency situations, work schedules shall not be changed unless the changes are mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the Union.
