Regular Float Positions. Where the Employer believes that it is operationally more efficient and cost effective to utilize regular float positions for work as defined in Article 11.04(A) (Casual Employees – Definition) the Employer will establish float positions. To ensure the full utilization of these float positions, the Employer may reassign to a float, work previously assigned to a casual employee. The Employer shall post and fill these positions in accordance with Article 17.01. A float nurse is a regular employee who is utilized for work as defined in Article 11.04(A) (Casual Employees – Definition) on a xxxx, unit, or program, or a series of wards or units at or from a designated worksite.

  • Float Positions The Employer may establish regular float positions which are consecutive hour shifts.

  • REGULAR WORK YEAR 1. The annual salary established for employees covered by this Collective Agreement shall be payable in respect of the employees’ regular work year. The regular work year shall be the regular school year as established by the Board and shall not exceed one hundred and ninety-five (195) days in session per school year.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Such posting shall not preclude the Employer from advertising outside the site premises. All postings shall state minimum qualifications required, the equivalent to full-time (E.F.T.) and date of closing of the competition. Job descriptions shall be available to applicants on request. 3002 The Employer will be required to post a notice of vacancy for only five (5) days for a vacancy that is created by:

  • REGULAR WORK YEAR FOR TEACHERS 20.1 The annual salary established for employees covered by this agreement shall be payable in respect of the teacher's regular work year.

  • Regular Overtime Any overtime work scheduled in advance of the administrative workweek as part of an employee's regularly scheduled workweek is considered regular overtime. An employee shall be compensated for every minute of regular overtime work in accordance with 5 CFR 550.

  • Vacant Positions An employee on the reinstatement roster may bid on a vacant position in a different classification in the same manner as any other regular employee pursuant to this agreement.
