Regular Classified Employees. (a) Notice of Proposed Layoff Regular classified employees shall be subject to layoff only for lack of work or lack of funds. The District shall send written notice of proposed layoff to the affected classified employee on or before March 15. A copy of said notice shall be provided to the ECCE Union President. Permanent classified employees have the right to request a hearing to determine if there is cause for not reemploying them for the following fiscal year.
